Library & Information Science
The College of Veterinary Science Library caters to the information needs of students, staff, researchers, and extension personnel of the University. The right information to the right reader at the right time is the motto of the library. The Library is considered as the “heart of any educational institution”, as it serves to support the Course Curriculum and also research activities of the Institution. The Library & Information Sciences, of PVNRTVU, has a modern collection of books in Veterinary Sciences, subscribes to National and International Journals, Magazines, Online Databases, Statistical Databases and e-Resources in Veterinary Sciences. Apart from the normal functions, LIS has been an active partner in various library related consortiums under ICAR-NARS. The collection of Knowledge resources and up-to-date information services facilitated at LIS, PVNRTVU would make it act as one stop solution to Students, Scientists, Faculty, Extension Specialists and Administrators to access the required information with ease.
